Calling All Cars

At the crossroads of rock and metal, CALLING ALL CARS put themselves at the place where heavy riffs, melody, infectious hooks and energetic punk collide.

A Birmingham-based 4-piece, all in their early 20s, they formed out of close friendship and a love of music. All band members are experienced musicians, giving them the understanding and commitment to work hard and make it big in the music industry today.

The bandıs sound is a fusion of 80s and early 90s metal (Metallica, Faith No More, Pantera...) and punk (NOFX, Lagwagon, No Use for a Name...), yet is also as contemporary as bands like Funeral For a Friend, Thrice and Atreyu. Combine their unique sound with an energetic live show, and these guys are a serious proposition.

CALLING ALL CARS have played shows up and down the UK with many other awesome up-and-coming bands such as Adzuki, Shape of My Addiction and Johnny Panic and having recently recorded their self-titled mini album with producer Karl Bareham (Killswitch Engage, Johnny Truant, 3 Stages of Pain, The Bled) in February 2005, the year ahead looks very bright. With shows at Subverse (Visible Noise) in London, Greenbelt Festival and Birmingham Academy 2 lined up, it can only get brighter...
